I work mainly with six series: THE FLATTOPS & the End of Civilization; RELATIONS-HIP Series; 23 PLACES IN 21 YEARS; AFTER…; BLUE HIGHWAYS; GOLD.
Extensive use is made of photographs, especially from my archive of 17,000 negatives.
Important influences are: Joseph Cornell, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, and Raymond Johnson. There are many others, including photographers Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, and William Klein.
